pink and blue set, plus my new wiggy wig! (MANY A PICCY!)
gosh for someone who has been on this site since Quinnsters early days i never show off my suff ha!
i made this set (modeled by the beautiful Lampy ) cheaply for a friends girlfriend. I had free reign of how many of each color to do,.they are new sky blue, neon pink and barbie pink,. i loooved them but.. lets just say shes not the most grateful of sorts oh well!
this wig i made in two days for myself,. now im not a fan of wigs, but when miss anthropik put up a tute for the tights base wig i decided to have a go. i love it! and i think they look very extention-y rather than wiggy if i do say so myself?! must whip up a fringe to go with em. im now a wig convert, thanks miss antropik!
the DEs pinned on as i try to work out how i wanted to place them (Lampy's been upgraded to Penelope )
first row sewn together (yes Penelope got a lip make over half way through ha)
and on this ragamuffins head (gotta sort that big atomic turquoise fringe sticking out)
second row (the gaps between the first) have just to be filled in, and some wig clips attached then im done! what do ye think?

The mixture of blues in the last few photos is amazing.. and you wouldn't notcie that there are gaps, unless you looked closely!!

How could someone not be grateful for that first set? It's beautiful!
The wigs amazing, i was a bit unsure before i saw it on your head but with it on it could totally fool me, personally i'd leave a bottom row or two of it out of the ponytail because one i like the style and two in case any of the hair thats hard to put up poked through the underneath and gave it away.
But i'm hopelessly pedantic with things like that, it's all or nothing
Beautiful colour choice though, it looks really good with your contrasting fringe, awesome work!

That wig is very spiffy! I've been thinking about making myself a wig because I can't have dreads with my job; this is more inspiration =)

If you hadn't told us that the bottom ones were a wig, I don't think I would have guessed. Well done, and well styled, it looks fantastic.
Those top dreads are lush, as everyone else has already said, I don't see how someone could not love them O_O Some people are very odd indeed.

ya very squishy! I was afraid they would be too heavy if i made normal ones!Miss_Panda wrote:also just to ask were your De's squishy? rather than solid
and to all: ya i know its such a shame when people dont appreciate how much work you did for them hair wise. i rushed the first set to get them done for a festival she wanted to attend(made em in less than 4 days) and gave her loads of beads too,. i left the dreads in her boyfriends house (my friends) for her,...and i have never gotten a thank you' or a 'cheers i like em' text or anything.that was in march.

thanks! after putting on a few clip extention snaps it is pretty secure,. i love em and now i can not only change my dread look daily (without it being obviously a wig) i can sleep soundly without a ball of plasticy hair propping me up, blissPageofSwords wrote:I absolutely love the combo of blue+pink.
