This wig is the product of three years of on-and-of work. The red base is dreaded and some of it has been extended into red>burgundy transitionals. There are a few dreads sewn onto the back in shades of red and neon violet, and hot pink braids. There's also red, neon violet, and dark red kk silky added throughout the wig and a bit of dark red human hair.

Added tons of kk in purple, dark purple, medium purple, light purple, lavender, and silver white to a medium purple party wig. I used very small sections of the party wig mixed with kk, so although the wig hair doesn't seal, the kk keeps it in place. There are also a few light purple braids throughout the wig and of course the giant ones in front.

This was a custom order; the buyer wanted the style to be the same as the purple wig aboove, but in "nighttime sky" colors. All of the hair from the wig was cut off except for the bangs and replaced with kk. I blended purple, dark purple, navy blue, and black to get the right mix of colors.

Another manufactured dread wig. I used mostly #27 and #613 with some purple wool accents.

Jack Sparrow wig, based off the first Pirates movie. The customer already had all of the beads and stuff, so he just wanted me to style the hair and braid in some coins.

The giant dreadbraid wig of doom. It contains just about every shade of pink, yellow, and orange known to man. All of the hair was backcombed and then braided (no sealing involved). I also sewed in a few loose/braided scrunchies in matching colors up at the top, and there are some pink beads in there as well.

This is a Boy George wig that was done for a stage production of The Wedding Singer (for the character George, naturally). It started out completely straight with side-swept bangs. I crimped, braided, and dreaded most of the hair, teased up the bangs, and sewed in some extra chunky dreads. It looks kind of like a half-finished dread wig in the pictures, but in person it's much nicer ;P

This wig was made out of single- and double-ended dreads in a variety of colors, made by a few different sellers. I braided them all onto a black and burgundy base and left out the bangs.
