Hi I am just wondering I have really long hair and wondered what ways I can install some dreads.will post pic if needed

I think a pic might be helpful so people can see the length and thickness of your hair.

Installing via blanket braid reduces the length of your hair significantly, but if your hair is really really long then this might not be the best method.

Yeah I would suggest blanket braiding. It does shorten hair so it might be worth trying one on your hair without any dreads so you know the length of dreads you would need for your hair. I also found this from the forum about blanket braid for long hair.

Blanket braiding ftw! :) I have about the same length. I just takes a long time to get everything done, thats all :)
