Post by moosiefeltfelt » Mon May 04, 2009 10:39 am

my friend told me how to do this its a simple case of weaving my pics ent brill but yuo shud get genral idea

ok so get your octopuss clip got mine from tesco for £4.50
Image

then i used sum mid length double enders my mate made for me and sum pink that i made
about 70DE

the dreads minus my pink as dont have pic of em
Image

ok so step one i weaved on either side of the clip to make my base dreads i secured them with bands
Image

then i pulled some dreads horizontaly threw the bass dreads i did this all the way down then secure with a stitch.Image

then its just a case of weaving dreads here there and every where being carful to leave enough room for your finger to fit to be able to clip it on
Image

and here is the finnished product
Image

ok so thats it simple sorry not more pics, they stay really well as long as u keep securing with stitches here and there.
Have fun

Wow, that's a really neat idea!
I've been looking for an easy way to do falls on clips, I'll have to give this a shot some day.

this is a great quick clip in fall tut! :D
i personally have very long (almost waist length) hair and find it hard to do regular falls because two buns are too big, so i have to do 2 buns on each side, a total of 4 buns.
i use the octopus clips with my natural hair and always thought they would be best for clip-ins for people with hair like mine but couldnt come up with a good way to secure the dreads to them.
i will have to give this a try sometime, thanks for posting it!
