ShapeShifter Question

I've been using Plastikhaar 50mm wave for a while now because it matches my hair nicely with no need for me to damage my hair with heat. Unfortunately, I just had my recent order cancelled, and shipping from Europe to the US is crazy.

Is it possible to set a fairly permanent curl/wave into ShapeShifter? My hair hates curling irons and straighteners, and I do like to wash my hair every three days.

Any help would be appreciated, as I need to figure out what to order fast!
