What do you wear under your leg warmers?

I was thinking seeing as winter was coming up I wanted some nice fluffy monster yeti style boots by quicksilver/roxy. But these are looking to be expensive and hard to get hold of, esspecially in black
So I was thinking of buying a pair of black monster fluffy leg warmers instead. But then holds the question, what do I wear under them? I dont want to wear new rocks, and im not sure if they would look right wearing DC's under them.
So generally the question is, what type of footwear do you wear under your leg warmers? Do your shoes show when you wear them?

I generally just wear comfy shoes, like trainers. They generally don't show underneath the leg warmers so it doesn't matter.

Yeah, I used to wear black trainers under black legwarmers cos they don't really show. Although now I'd wear my Swears, just cos I reckon they'd look good with legwarmers

I've just bought some to wear with my new rocks :p

But after that, prolly with trainers etc. The front of mine are bigger, so they overhang the front to my toes and hide whatever shoe i have on

either a chunky boot, heels or a hi-top trainer, like converse

I wear a pair of the low platform (3 to 4 inch) Demonias or just normal combat boots

i wear anything! from flipflops to platforms anything looks good pretty much LOL

i wear wide flat swears, trainer type swears

they don't really show, just the toes a little

I don't think they look right over platforms, but that might just be me

Here's a little tip for fluffies-fans...

I wear Vans slip-ons under my fluffies, then secure the edge to the canvas bits of my shoes with a few little stitches or a pin. Voila! Your shoes are completely hidden.

I just go with Chucks or if the legwarmers havea larger opening I go for skateshoes.
Pretty much anything thats comfortable.
On ocassion I have been know to parade around in 5 inch boots awith leg warmers over top(kind of odd to wear to be honest)

if i had to wear them (which living in Puerto Rico i dont) i would wear tights and a tutu. Why?because it looks pretty. though i could probably wear leg warmers seeing as ive seen girls wear knitted scarfs in 90 degree weather....
