the braiding looks neat, but for me i can see too much of your own hair. You could attach some more at the roots so it hangs over your own hair a bit and disguises it a bit more

The rexlace will hang nicer and give much better volume if you braid your hair and then tie rexlace down the length of the braids rather than braiding it directly into your hair.

lol well for me, i got impatient and took them out 4am of the 2nd day, lol. im sure with stronger elastics and a helper, they could last on your head a bit longer. they kept falling out because the little elastics were snapping.

lol and thank you ^_^

I love the colours you have used. It looks really good for a first try. My very first attempt with plastic was horrificly bad. I had nowhere near enough to do a full head. I'm glad there is no photographic evidence! I've never used rexlace to braid into my hair, I use round tubing but I guess it would work the same. I found that if you braid one or two pieces of plastic into your hair in the way you would with a double ended dread and then tie more plastic around the root of each braid you got much better coverage and it'll blend better with your natural hair. It's a good job you've got a high undercut because the weight of all that plastic will hurt your neck! And.. your eyebrows are awesome!

personally im not a huge fan of rex lace extensions, but this looks quite neat. and really good on you. i really like the colors together, looks like cotton candy. I would only suggest to dye your hair a matching color or else cover your natural hair up with more rex lace. but other than that it looks good.
Plus for a first timer with the eyebrows they looks amazing! I would love to gnaw on your hair. I think i just might just have to go buy some cotton candy now!

So i'm going to go total hair nazi on you
but you should always try and blend the color of the extensions with your own hair
otherwise unless you plan on wearing the hat all the time, you real hair will draw alot of attn away from your extensions

when i put in my plastic
i always do a braid of my natural hair, and then braid in the plastic. it hides it a bit better then other ways i've tried it.

also adding bits to the roots to thicken always helps with coverage
ps
if you live anywhere that gets cold, rexlace is a super bad idea!
it gets stiff and heavy when the temp goes down!
so if you really like it i suggest investing in some plastic tubing called softglass
so much nicer!
