First ever synthetic dread i have ever made ever. opinions?
Sooo, after finding out about synth dreads about 4 years ago I've ALWAYS wanted to own a set. I owned a pair of orange and black wool falls but i always loved how synth looked. Finally 4 years later I revived my interest in synth dreads and decided, why not try make some??! D
I've never owned any synth dreads ever, nor have any of my friends had any so I don't know what they are supposed to feel like, but I've done my best to try and emulate what it SHOULD look like.
I used the iron and wet towel method that I got from doctoredlocks (where I also ordered my hair from). And I used water + hair straightner to seal the ends. I think it's taken me about an hour or 40 minutes or so to make this?
What do you think? I think it's okay but I don't think I backcombed enough down the bottom nor sealed it enough at the bottom, the top looks fine, and there are a few lumps and bumps...but overall I think it has turned out pretty good for my first try xD
