I made a wig not too long ago, well actually about a month ago, and I've been wearing it on just about a daily basis to go out. However, lately, I've found that the bottom few wefts like the rat up when I'm wearing it. At first I figured it was because I kept playing with it too much so I broke the habit and it just seems to keep getting rattier and rattier. >.<'' It's become a nightly ritual to carefully comb out the mess. It's resulted in a severe thinning of the bottom weft in the center, near my nape.
Any ideas on how to fix something like this? I've been thinking that it might need a good wash and drip dry but I'm not sure how to go about washing it since it's made out of two different fibers [Kanekalon & human hair].
Thanks in advance! ^.^

You should try having it steamed. This usually brings mine back to life
