Purple, pink & blonde *first show off - opinions plz*

Ok, so I made my first (and last) set of synth dreads literally years ago. They were rushed and messy, only a partial install and only in 2 colours. Anyway my love of synth dreads has recently been reignited thanks to your lovely people on here :D

I need to de-fuzz them a little and also tidy up the loops I know :D

Overall I am very chuffed with them and they came out exactly as planned, but...

Im a little worried ive made my dreads too 'busy' I originally planned for them to be a multi-tonal set of different shades of purple and lilacs mixed dreads with a bold contrast of solid blonde dreads...but this neon pink crept in! im really not sure if it works. I have enough hair to replace the pink ones but meh. opinions plz.

I've never made nor installed DE dreads before and that's why there is a mix of SE and DE. My plan is to do SE's around my hairline (leaving a fringe too) and DE's to make up the bulk in the rest of my hair...does that sound like a good idea? will it work? My logic is that I thought the SE's would look neater (at the hairline) when my hair is up etc...The shorter ones are to be put in the top section my my hair for a layered look, I also figured it would be less weight too.

Also, the amount. I have 20 of each dread, is that enough? considering I'm leaving my fringe dread free.

Any and all comments welcome

Those are absolutely gorgeous!!! & your install plan sounds like a great idea, SE's pull less on the hairline, a lot of people do installs like that.

Please post pics when you have installed them, they're too pretty not to see on your noggin!

those look nice, as for the colour, it would be great to see how stiff they really are.

Is that what Ive done?

I call it 'smooshing colours together at random not having a clue and hope it works' lol

...I mean, yea! I totally planned that..marbled? blended? look... 8-)

lol

tbh I was just having a lot of fun making them and just wanted to see how certain ratios of colours and amount of backcombing turned out. I have a ton of hair left but I've exhausted my dread making enthusiasm, so I hope I have enough made now to put them in (self install not gonna be fun).

Self installs are OK, I've always done my own. Take plenty of little rests, put a film on etc. & you'll be fine :D

I just LOVE the fact that these are all different from each other, I dont go for the whole uniform dread thing. These are beautiful.

Keep the pink ;)
