My first hair extensions~

Post by Skybluepinky14 » Tue Mar 15, 2011 6:02 am

And I love them, even though my hair isn't normally straight.
I'm hoping when I wash my hair they kinda smash together with my natural texture. >.>
Maybe wishful thinking.

And here's where they were put in. So very sneaky~

Human hair from a Sally Beauty Supply store in the US.
The color is Veracruz Red from SatinStrands.

They look good :D

They should 'roughen' up a bit in time and stop being so straight and silky. They look pretty natural in the pics though!

Thanks Monique. :3 I want to get some shapeshifter colors like rivetlicker, hers were nice and bright.

And thanks to you too Shadow~ I was wondering though, have you ever known them to integrate into curly hair? My hair is a good 2-3 inches shorter than what it looks in this picture, maybe even shorter. People have asked me if I get my hair permed, but that's just my natural texture. ^^;

they are cute! coulding you just take a quick curling iron to them to blend them in with your natural texture? :)

^_^ That's what I'm planning on doing, but I got the 3/4th inch curler and that's still too big, mostly cause it falls out into a more loopy curl. So I have to go back and get a smaller one.

The only silly part about that is my hair takes forever to dry because If I blow dry it, I get somewhere near to an afro. I've also heard "Einstein hair", so I'd have to wait for my extensions to dry before I curled them. x.x

So I'm hoping that with enough brushing into my natural hair and some scrunching I can get them to curl a little. x3

I'm not sure, my hair is only a bit wavy, if your hair is very curly, maybe you can get curly extensions? :)

I've thought of trying that, I'm gonna see how this pans out first I think. Cause I've been getting lots of positive feed back from my friends about my straight hair as well. I may start straightening it on a regular basis. :3

They look lovely! If they are a straight human hair, you can get a little curl out of them with product and scrunching. Shapeshifter is awesome! It is going to be straight, however, once you have them curled, you won't have to worry about them losing the curl until you add heat to them again.
