Natural looking set

Post by Synful-Synthetics » Fri Oct 15, 2010 8:56 pm

I made this set a couple of months ago when I went determined to create natural looking synths.
I think they ended up looking like really poorly done twisted synths.

What do you guys think? Any advice would rock

Thank you! I've been wanting to put them up on etsy but I was worried that they weren't very good.

It's Black and Gold, Lime Green

When I saw these at your place, I was secretly thinking " I really want those on my head, they look really earthy and the ends are so neat o: "

No no no. Poorly made twisted dreads would fall apart, yours won't:)I really like the semi-natural look because some regular naturals are just too fuzzy for me. Some others on the board have made this style with similarly great results.
The wraps really enhance the look. Don't give up on this style there is good a market for it. :i2:

Agreed with everything said above. Personally, I'd love to rock these on my noggin.

Thank you so much everybody.
I was really feeling like I had failed at this style but now I am sitting here wanting to start on a new set!

One thing I found with these is they take a lot less hair to make and also less to wear because they are a lot more full.

I think I will ad this to my for sale list.

How'd you do the wraps with the beads incorporated? They look amazing.

The beads were put directly onto the dread and the wrap was done around them. The wrap is done with what's called a half knot
