Second set. Pink & Blonde

Post by z0mbieface » Tue Sep 21, 2010 6:41 pm

Almost done my second set of SE's. Platinum and barbie pink, the pink was a nightmare to backcomb so I tried mixing a few with the blonde to make it easier! Im pretty pleased with them so far, my candycanes aren't great, and the lengths are all slightly different but Im getting there! Any critque welcome! :)

Almost at selling quality and definitely something to wear with pride :)

The swirls look a tad bit loose (but that happens), and considering your battle with the pink, I think you did fairly well!

Hey there! These look pretty sweet to me :) Candy canes are hard to do but if you back comb the blonde and pink a little seperately then put them side by side and backcomb a little before you twist and steam things should tighten up for you.
Keep dreadin'!

I agree with this, I used to have so much trouble making my candy canes seal nice and tight. I started doing it this way and I almost never have problems with it now.

For a second set you are doing amazingly. I didn't have the guts to do anything but solid colors and a bit of blending until my 5th or 6th set. Way to go!
