First Transitional's *pics*

So I just made my first pair of SE Transitional falls, I'm not to thrilled with them, but I am going to actually install them soon rather then where them as falls and see if i like that better :/

here's the three color one :

Are these supposed to be naturals or twisties? Can't tell haha.

If they're naturals, backcomb more, and palm roll the crap out of them until all the hairs are sitting in. Even crochet if need be. It's hard to get a trans out of a natural dread, but there's no saying it can't be done.

If they're twisties, backcomb more too, twist harder and seal until they stay put :)

they are twisties, I am having such a hard time with backcombing haha, i have watched and read so many tuts, including yours which is fabulous, but i think i am just too rough on the hair! if thats even possible, but thank ya for your advice <3

I just have a regular steamer, kinda cheap, i think steaming them with the kettle almost worked better :/

What hair are you using? I found that the first lot of dreads I did (that shall never see the light of day) were made with the wrong fibres and point blank refused to seal no matter what I did to them. They're now in the bin :P

I really don't think the sealing is the problem. They look not backcombed at all, and I think they will unravel pretty soon. You have to be patient when you backcomb it takes a while to get a hold on. But just try again :)

i'm using Jumbo Braid, Braid Now and Black N Gold, they all say 100 percent kenekolan (no idea if thats how you spell it), but some colors are not sealing very well

although, i do think my problem is backcombing :/
