Well first off let me introduce myself. I'm Josh and live in colorado springs. I'm a professional fire performer, as well as an avid raver and burner.

So with that said i have made quite a few sets of falls for friends, and they have turned out great. They always look awesome so i decided i was going to try and find a way to make them for myself. I have one idea, but am looking for other suggestions as well. I'm not sure if this will get me in trouble or not, but i borrowed the picture below from cypherlox. This is kinda the general idea i'm going for. Except with cyberlox instead of dreads. I want to use a bandana to kind of push everything out the back. My problem is how to attach them to my hair. I have pretty short hair (2-3 inches long). So I am looking for ideas on how to attach them. Everyone i have done them for had hair long enough to be put in buns. Then just clipped on there.

So there is my idea. Any other ideas for falls for guys are more than welcome.

the most simple way is to attach the elastic of falls to goggles rather than your hair!

Or mount the fals on a streachy headband and tie the bandana over it

easy peasy! I make headband falls all the time for customers, one of my most popular products. Also I sell quite a few to guys at trade events by explaining the goggles method,

If you're going to be covering where the roots are with a bandana anyway, you could try a modified version of something I used to do when my undercut was growing out but wasn't quite long enough to braid in extensions properly. It's more like an installation than falls, but, it doesn't take long to do.

Using strong elastics, section off the hair into smallish sections, split a section in two & lay a dread/length of cyberlox etc across the middle, as if you were goung to start a braid, then just twist each side firmly around the extension & secure with a few elastic bands. Do a row or two of those near the front of your head, then you should be able to use those semi-installed extensions as a longer base to mount a fall onto.

Littlepinkfaery's suggestion of a dreadband/mounting on goggles is probably simpler & better for your purposes, but just thought I'd throw the idea in there
