don't know how many people this'll make sense to, but there's also a distinction between an mp3 cd and an audio cd.. if you make an mp3 cd some cd players won't be able to play it (computers will though, and many newer cd players can do it)
if anyone wants I can make a tutorial for burning cds through windows xp, or windows media player, or itunes
one other thing.. everyone should test their cd before posting, I've had burned cds go wrong before _________________ deviantart |

heh, make sure everyone understands the difference and how to do that.. generally you'll need some software to make it an audio cd (drag n drop onto the cd in windows explorer won't do it, as far as I know), but as long as people have windows media player or itunes it's easy.. if anyone's not sure, I'll make a tutorial on how to do it in itunes, I think that's the easiest way (plus it's a free download)
edit: off to bed now, will stop hijacking your swap _________________ deviantart

That's ok because most of the music on my computeris in mp3 format but you can burn it onto a cd as an audio cd not an mp3 cd. _________________ Previously known as stormfaerie

I love things like this! , besides CD's are quite cheap these days and it's always a pleasure to send off swaps for people!
Shame it's only ten songs though! Is this a similar swap to I send a CD to someone and the same person sends back or a circle swap? I'm abit wary of the second even though I was in that with the colour swap.
Just checking |

Lorny: Most of my music is on my computer, not on cds. Do you use itunes? It's super easy to burn an audio cd from there!
RavenSDL: That's about the long and short of it! Whilst baring in mind the survey your partner sent back!
Wolfy: I haven't decided what kind to make it? What are the pros and cons on each do you reckon? And 10 songs is just a guide really. Feel free to make it a double CD if you like!! _________________ The artist formerly known as Blamethrower...

Well with the version where you send to somebody and then that person you sends to sends to somebody else maybe it would be easier in this case to make it so that say you send to one person and they send back so you could chat about the music you sent one another ?
It also makes it slightly less confusing when recieving a swap, so you only effectively have to remember one name instead of two. Or get ahold of one person instead of two incase there's any delays? |
