Has anyone dealt with Minkyshop?

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/MinkyShop

They have some cute stuff on there but some of it is quite expensive and I just wondered if any of you girlies on here has dealt with them...I'd like to know what the quality of their clothing is like, how fast the arrived etc

I bought some really cute slouchy legwarmers with buttons from them a long time ago - they arrived quickly and they feel really nice.

I've dealt with them before, I think they arrived in about 3 weeks.

I bought boots though and I have to warn you do not whatever you do buy the boots. After about a week of light wear the sole seperated from the top on one of them. I got them repaired and the first time I wore them after that my foot went right through the side on the other one. Had to buy electrical tape and wear that for the rest of the evening to keep them on. Razz Way beyond repair and too late by that time to complain and return them.

They are sooo cheaply made, way overpriced and definatly not worth it. Shame as they looked good. Razz

Actually mupstasia, it was the shoes that made me look at their shop in the first place! Luckily my feet are too big for their shoes Wink

I'm probably just kidding myself but I've fell in love with the boots..they're gorgeous!

It was these ones in black:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JAPAN-GOTHIC-PUNK-PLATFORM-DOLLY-BOOTS-GOTH-SHOE-SIZE-5_W0QQitemZ380018351379QQihZ025QQcategoryZ63889QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262

The top seemed to just be tucked in and glued to the soles and not stitched at all, hence how my foot went through it so easiely ...also I noticed the soles are not rubber, but more of a thick cardboard like material, and started to scrunch up on the sides a bit after a week. Seems like they are only made for cosplay/lolita poseing and not really meant for walking around in much.

I really should have complained now come to think if it, but by then it was several months since I ordered them (wore them for a week at Whitby and then didn't wear them most of the summer after I got them repaired) so nothing probably could have been done.

Damn, those were the ones I was eyeing up. I guess my search for decent boots continues.

Tell me about it....still searching too!

I'm liking new rock's new platform range...especially these:

I'm hoping to get them soon so will post a review (must stop buying corsets and hair or I would have them by now!).

Awesome, will you please post pics of it on if possible? That was one of the items I was interested in, but they can look so different on compared to on one of their super skinny models xD
