I was thinking it would be a cute idea.... for maybe about 20 spots.... if we bought charms for everyone on the swap (either all the same or different)... each person would buy their own blank chain and would add on the charms as they got them so in the end, everyone had a cute charm bracelet with a charm from everyone on the list! We could also specify if we wanted a theme for our bracelets (nothing too specific... like a nautical theme for example).

I'd be willing to organize this! Let me know what you think of this idea... I think it would be really cute... and it shouldn't be too expensive to get 20 little pieces for everyone on the list..

that's a really nice idea, just one thing tho.. postage might get a bit expensive if we're all sending.. I know charms are only tiny but you'd probably be spending £10 just on postage, assuming theres 20 people or so

Ooooh I didn't think about that at all... well... it could always be organized so that you send them all to one person (perhaps the organizer) who would then put the bracelets together and send em out to everyone? It would be harder to specify a theme if you had wanted to do it that way.... and of course you'd pay for shipping for your bracelet to get to you... but otherwise, everyone else would only pay to ship one package?

Oh noes!
I clicked the wrong option on the poll =.=;

I clicked the 'this is a cute idea but not for me' one instead of the 'I'm up for this!' one.
So just to let you know one vote there doesnt count, or.. does count, depending on the way you look at it >_<

You could always try some bead or craft stores! They always have little charms... or you could always just use cute beads that have been attached to something like flatheaded pins that curl into a little hoop at the top to attach them to the bracelet. Personally, I'd probably get mine on ebay (as long as they'd arrive on time sweatdrop) because you can find so many different things and probably bulk order them :]

I think people were thinking more of the price of buying envelopes to mail all of the charms than the postage for the actual envelopes... although it would still add up! If you pay a buck for each envelope, you'd end up with at least $20 on shipping costs sweatdrop

this sounds like a great idea! But maybe since a charm in such a tiny thing to pay postage for, we could substantiate it buy sending something else as well. We could all draw each other a picture or something.

Yeah but if you're posting all of the charms to one person, it isn't so bad... and then postage for a bracelet.. :] Of course if you want to do 20-25 drawings, then by all means, go ahead sweatdrop
