so today i made some bows to attach to clips. I was wandering how i could attach them to clips with a very strong hold... would superglue work? or is that abit much? =/

and what could put on the ends to stop them from freying (sp?) i heard clear nail polish works but then some say it doesnt...

heres a pic

there's a glue you can pick up called goop (or depending on where you live...e6000) that you can find in craft departments and..hardware glue departments..seriously. it'll stick anything to anything pretty much forever. you can use super glue too if you want

either way, use it in a ventilated area! goop is kind of toxic, so by an open window or let it dry under a vent (that goes outside)

you can stick all kinds of things to hairclips with that and they won't fall off

i'd give the nail polish a go on a scrap to see if it discolors. just use it on the very edge, and it should be ok. lots of fray stoppers discolor fabric and it's annoying

Clear nail varnish should be fine to use on the ribbon, I have to use it on the ribbons on my pointe shoes. Another thing to try is running the superglue nozzle over the ends.

take a lighter and burn the edges.
its what we used to do with our pointe shoes. and it works wonders.
