i bought this cable tidy a while ago and thought it would go nicely as a part of a fall i was going to make. The only problem is, How would i attach it?

heres a couple of pics.

I tried using that type of material before. I drilled a hole thru the plastic on one end and slid a rubberband thru it, then looped that over my piece of lace with the other materials i was using.

To be honest though, I wasn't pleased with the result. they didnt lay very well and were awfully heavy Sad

I was actually going to buy some of that to try. I just didn't care for that translucent colour. I'm glad someone else tried it too!

it was the only colour they had in B&Q lol. its long tho, makybe its UV??? i dunno.

if used as just a few accents you might have better luck. Just more than a few pieces were a no go for me...

I've used it sparingly and it's pretty good but will be a bit lumpy where you tie it. I tie it on tightly with some rexlacing.

You could sew it onto the fall ribbon or what ever your using

just put 2 little holes in it and sew it tight

yea i was thinking of accents, i made some black and white dreads and i have some foam aswell. I saw somewhere somebody had attached foam/plastic with cable ties.

I untwist it a bit where its going over the elastic (so it lies a little flatter) and then use a cable tie to hold it in place. Even with the square part at the end of the cable tie its still less bulky than knotting, and its more durable than rubberbands.
