well...i would assume you could make a type of weft with the rexlace and secure it on..or push through every part of rexlace individually and maybe put a bit of glue on the end so it wont go through and then cover it with felt like on katie blairs tute for adding ponytails to wigs... |

If I remember rightly, it's just two of those normal knots you do when you start tying your shoelaces _________________ Let's make the parties longer

Take a strand of rexlace that's folded in half and push it thru the base of the wig. You want the knot to wind up inside the wig.
[Pretend my finger is the wig base. *lol*]
Take the loose ends and pull them thru the loop you just made.
Pull tight, and make sure the loose ends wind up outside the wig.
This is what the knot will look like.
Repeat many, many, many times. _________________ Psychologically Deviant

That's awesome. I haven't seen a plastic wig in *ages* and could use the inspiration to make my own [which I am planning on, just don't know when I'll have the time *lol*.] _________________ Psychologically Deviant

I made this one yeeeeaaars ago using the exact knotting method tank_girl_138 mentions.
Doing it that way ensures that the inside of the wig is neat and the inside loops where the rexlace is attached are flush with the wig base. I also found it easy to follow the tracks where the hair was wefted on to give even coverage.
Rexlace wigs are very hot and very, very heavy! _________________ http://www.halocaustic.co.uk

Okay completely off topic also.....
However I have to ask you something halo.... I purchased a set of falls from you via ebay months ago (which I wear every chance I get and pimp you crazy style to everyone who comments on them also the falls seen in my user pic) and every time I look at your work I am still boggled.
I have to know.
How is it that you manage to make EVERYTHING you produce look so classy? I've seen countless rexlace wigs and falls and this?! WTF?! It's not only stunning but it has just a classy look to it and I just have to know how you do it. And is this talent in bottle form and how much do I have to pay?
Just wow _________________ Vibrant Dollie

Awww thank you....that's really nice, you've made my day.
Presentation is important to me, always has been. It's the best way to make sure you survive in a market flooded with a lot of mediocre products. Clear pictures showing the hair either on a person or a mannequin are important in my opinion, it shows how it will hang on the potential buyers head.
I also take a lot of pride in my work and make sure what I am selling is of good quality.....because the camera never lies
Like I said...its the best way to impress potential customers and online its the ONLY way to make them want to buy from you. However, for every newbie seller I see who displays their work well I see another one who really shouldn't be selling AT ALL because they're just not good enough.
The downside to it all is that I get my pictures stolen frequently by people trying to sell their own crap using my images _________________ http://www.halocaustic.co.uk
