Alrighty, so for the NIN concerts I'm going to, I'm planning on making my own t-shirt for the band of the current keyboard player since they don't sell merch. (Modwheelmood! That's totally a plug for them because they're awesome! )

SO. I have the logo and everything I want... but there seems to be only one measly image on the entire interwebs of this certain style logo and it's way too small to do a silk screen transfer or anything with. So I've decided to use fabric paint and stencils.

I've never worked with that stuff before and was wondering, is there any kind you ladies would suggest that will
a. Hold up over long periods of time (including two times in mosh pits)
b. Look good?

Or should I just talk to the airbrush people in the mall and see if they can work from the small picture of the design?

Fabric paint can split if the t shirt has a slight stretch. However this isn't always noticable but it does fade with washing. Having said that I painted a bullet for my valentine logo on a white t shirt and I have only had to touch it up once. The more coats of paint you put on the less it will fade. Also it costs about £2 for a 100ml - ish pot for a good quality fabric paint. I'm not sure what a proffesional place would cost.
