oh! How culd I forget Audrey! I love her work - I wanted to look at her stuff for fine art last year but my tutor said she was too illustrative or something..? I dunno, I don't get all this fine art snobbery stuff.
Helmet girl is good too, I'm finding some good artists I've not heard of before - this is a brilliant thread
That Julie Rap pic, of the feet, is such a cool idea _________________ hair by rhaeniel

I'd have to go with H.R. Giger.

Frida Kahlo. My favourite artist of all time. Mostly because she was a bit mad.
Froud. Gotta love the pressed faerie book. Also his son played Toby in The Labrynth. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/v15u4l3rr0rdreads/
It's not quite finished yet but most of the basics are there. |

I was so upset. She had a recent exhibit at the Philadelphia Art Museum, and I just kept putting off going, to the point I just forgot about it and missed it altogether. |

Lots of great artists have already been mentioned, but I have to say I am in love with Victoria Frances' work - she's a Spanish illustrator who has done some amazing gothic artwork that has been reproduced all over the world. I love anything that has a pre-raphaelite feel to it _________________ Claire Calavera = Knotty but nice!

PATRICK WOODROFFE! YES! My dad gave me Tinker the Hole Eating Duck and Halleleujah Anyway when I was a wee one and I still adore them! I can stare at those pictures for hours and still find so much in them!
Nthing Mucha, Giger and Belkinski love. And I was beaten to Linda Bergkvist!
I'm trying to remember some of my other favourites but for the most part I was beaten to the punch! _________________ I am beyond god, I am human. |
