Just curious.. Are they heavier or lighter than dreadfalls? I kind of want a set, but I don't think I can handle 20 pounds of plastic on my neck. X.x
I'm thinking of something of similar thickness/length to Sisen's.
Also, is there a tutorial around on how to make them? I can't find an info.. _________________ -~*We cannot change if we do not evolve. We cannot evolve if we do not change*~-

Rexlace falls are *much* heavier than dread falls.
The plastic section on Quinnster has a lot of methods (just click on the links to the pictures -- most of them tell how the person in the picture made them)

i am one of the two-person team who makes sisen's hair, so my best advice is this:
don't use rexlace. because it's flat, even a large amount of it tends to not get much if any volume, and still is quite heavy. if you're mixing it with dreadlocks a la sisen's pink/green wig we made, it works if tied around the base, but to build volume on its own i would really not recommend it.
if you want volume, try working with thicker tubing and rexlace if necessary, as i know a lot of industrial tubing is too thick to knot. folding it in half, punching holes through it and threading rexlace through it not only makes more volume than if tied on its own, it allows you to use both materials _________________ [a]narchy - no rules.
