Here's a question for those who buy the alternative falls in plastic, crin, etc.

Do you like rexlace by itself in a fall, or do you prefer it mixed in with dreads/yaki, what have you?

Your comments are appreciated.

Cheers!

Mixed in with other media.
Plain rexlace falls are too heavy and never provide much coverage, IMO.
Plus they remind me of those streamers on the handlebars of little girls bicycles Laughing

I giggled at the bicycle streamers comment.

I have seen some all rexlace falls look good, but not too many and it depends on the person.

I like rexlace only with other forms of plastic media (crin, satin ribobns, etc) I don't much care for it with dreads. That's just my personal preference though.

LOL!

Bicycle streamers. That's a good one! You know, it's true, though!

I'm in love with plastic hair/falls.
I think all rexlace falls would be fine as long as it wasn't just one color or length.

Usually, I prefer that flexible, tiny tubing though. It's easier to work with and sticks out in some places

I love plastic. I enjoy making plastic wigs. But I don't like rexlace, and how it lays flat. You can add so much rexlace to a fall but because the lacing is flat, it all lays flat, and there isn't much volume. I love plastic tubing extensions, they're so gorgeous. I don't like thin plastic mixed with thick dreads. I make skinny microdreads when I use thin lacing. The only time I would find thick dreads suitable with plastic is when used with wire loom, or 5mm tubing.
