I had a thought - yes I know, you may be thinking that a revolution is about to happen - but, I was wondering what you all thought about edible hair falls. It may may not sound too hygienic I know, but I reallyl ike the idea of trying it. Such as using liqourice as rexlace/scoubies and sweets that thread along it and stuff. Marshmallow twosts would be good.
Anyway let me know what you think!!

I'm sure I remember this being discussed before, but i forget what was in he discussion, I think some people might have said they had done it using varnishes and things to stop the sweets from getting sticky. I'm sure the discussion was on here, maybe if you look back through old posts you can find it _________________ MissAnthropik |

I couldn't do it... I'd set out with all good intensions, and then I'll blink and the marshmallow will be in a cup of hot chocolate and the strawberry laces will be nowhere in sight!
If you didn't want to varnish so they were edible probably the best thing to do would be to have them on the ends of foam falls or something so they don't get hot and maybe you colour wrap them in clingfilm? Interestning idea though - if you give it a bash post up the results! _________________ Every electronic word I read fries my brain a little more....eventually you will all be able to understand me.... |

Lol!! I'll second that with the marshmallow!!
I was also thinking about putting them onto some foam falls, or plastic ones. I do think it wuld be a messy affair tho!! _________________ Can't you just give me one chance to prove that money wont make me happy?

I know this is an old thread, but just wanted to add: it's possible to make 'sweets' out of polymer clay that look just like the real thing. Needle felting 'sweets' is possible too. In that way you can make an 'edible' wig or fall that's not going to stick or rot and still walk around with sweety sweets on your head _________________ Travelling through time, finding my future |
